A Professional Health Advocate is an individual trained to assist patients and/or their loved ones navigate our complex healthcare system. An independent healthcare advocate’s primary commitments are to promote the health, safety, and rights of their patients and clients.
Retaining a knowledgeable Professional Health Advocate is a valuable paid service which provides you with a wealth of resources, education, navigation, care coordination and peace of mind. An independent patient advocate is skilled at collaborating with your healthcare team and works on behalf of your best interests!
Please note that a Professional Health Advocate does not replace your physician(s), make any type of medical diagnosis or provide medical advice.
Yes. As a proud member of Greater National Advocates, I abide by the Collaborative Code of Ethics for Patient & Health Care Advocates. The code ensures that advocates act with professionalism, integrity and in the patient's best interest.
1. I work directly for YOU and not a health care system, insurance company, or hospital.
An advocate who works for an insurance company provides services that are limited in scope; and are NOT acting on your behalf.
2. I am highly experienced at collaborating with physicians, health care professionals and medical practice staff.
3. As a former patient who has “walked in your shoes,” I truly understand the roadblocks, fears and frustrations that patients face in our fragmented healthcare system.
4. I know how to find the quality care you are seeking and help you accomplish your healthcare goals.
5. I am ethical, transparent, and will fight for you to ensure your health concerns are taken seriously.
We offer a paid initial consultation (paid service). This is a session which will allow you to share your situation and determine if we can assist you with your needs and goals. It is not intended to diagnose, treat or provide medical advice.

The initial consultation must be paid for before we can schedule an appointment with you.
If you decide to retain PURITY PATIENT ADVOCATES AFTER the initial paid consultation, we will send you forms to complete, including but not limited to, a Client Engagement Letter, Consulting Services Agreement and a Release of Information form. Upon completion, receipt of the forms and payment, we will begin working with you.
Since this is a private service, it is not covered by health insurance. I work directly for you and will ensure your health, well-being, patient rights, and best interests are taken seriously.
If you have a health savings account (HSA), you may be able to utilize it to pay for independent Patient Advocate services.
We accept payment by major credit card, debit card, or ACH bank transfer.
No. I am not a licensed health care practitioner and therefore cannot diagnose or treat any medical conditions. I am unable to provide medical, legal, financial advice or insurance brokerage services. I cannot guarantee any specific medical, financial, legal, or insurance outcomes.

We do not discuss you or your loved one's patient information with anyone, unless granted written permission by you. This also includes patient family members, friends, or assigned guardians who may pay for the services.
All information you share with PURITY PATIENT ADVOCATES is protected and treated with confidentiality.
Unfortunately, our insurance does not cover client transportation. However, we are happy to facilitate and/or refer you to transportation services as requested.
Yes, I can join doctor appointments virtually or by phone in most areas of the United States. I can also attend in-office appointments in the Atlanta metro area, including North Fulton, Forsyth, Cobb, and selected areas in Gwinnett County, Georgia.
Integrative medicine helps maximize wellness for people with chronic and complex diseases. It aims to heal the mind-body-spirit and combines conventional and complementary medicine practices. An integrative medicine approach to healing might include lifestyle changes, alternative healing modalities such as acupuncture or chiropractic care.

We provide support for health insurance claim and billing issues on a case by case basis.
Each situation is unique, and we evaluate it carefully before proceeding. If your case is highly complex, we may refer you to other resources to ensure you receive the appropriate support.
